Fitness Classes
Stage 3 holds up to 10 metabolic resistance classes per day with every class completing the same workout. For example, a class on Monday at 5:00 AM will be doing the same workout as a class on Monday at 6:30 PM.
Every daily workout will be different. We believe that providing you with a new workout each time you come in encourages greater involvement and prevents plateauing. Consistency is key with our program, so we recommend that you come at least 2-3 times a week. You can easily view what the day’s class will consist of by viewing our daily workout emphasis calendar.
How Classes Work
Our average class size is approximately 10-14 people, everyone is at different fitness levels but don’t worry our fitness instructors are highly motivational and are trained to deliver personal attention to everyone. You will be coached and challenged to your fitness level.
Every class is structured into 4 phases:
- A warm-up with encouragement and interaction with others.
- Instructions telling you what the workout will be and direction for how to perform the exercises correctly.
- Doing the workout and transitions coupled with form correction and motivation.
- Ending with a cool-down, stretching, and a Q&A with your instructor.
Our mission at Stage 3 Fitness is to permanently enhance your quality of life through fitness, education, and support. We always tell our members: be consistent and be determined. Because whether you think you can or you can’t, you’re right.
Functional Strength Training
Strength training and core training (Stages 1 & 2 of the S3F Workout) can be interpreted in a variety of ways. At Stage 3 Fitness, everything is geared towards consistency. For the functional strength training portion of our workouts, we focus on two types of movements:
- Functional movements to strengthen core stability
- Strength movements in the form of bench press, squats, and the like.
The functional movement patterns we coach work to enhance muscle groups that enable you to perform daily activities such as squatting, twisting, and lifting. The strength movements work to build muscle which will increase your metabolism and make you stronger, giving you lasting results. Focusing on one without the other has the potential of increasing your chance of injury and can slow down your progression, neither of which are acceptable here.
Every workout at Stage 3 Fitness will combine cardio with strength and functional movements to maximize results. Each day will be different from the last and you will never do the same workout twice. By designing each class around these core concepts, we are able to capture results that most facilities and other trainers cannot.
Testing, Tracking, and Goal Setting
So what would be the point of going through all this work if the results don’t last? Just because you eat healthy foods and workout daily doesn’t necessarily mean you are going to get the lasting results you want. Tracking progress with proper coaching ensures results that last a lifetime.
By using the tools at Stage 3 Fitness (the InBody 570 body composition analyzer and the MyZone heart rate monitor), we can practically guarantee that when you reach your goals, your progress will be permanent.
Nobody wants to go through a diet or workout plan just to gain it all back. That’s why we provide tools, instructions, and support to simplify fitness, making it easier for you to live a healthier and happier life.
